The Forum

Welcome to the LPPA Forum.

Why have a Forum?

The Forum has been set up to provide a discussion area where schools involved in LPPA can ask questions, share ideas and discuss good practice.

In some areas of the country, where a number of schools within one authority are involved in LPPA, networks have been set up to give LPPA Co-ordinators the opportunity to share ideas with others and to provide a source of support and advice. We know that the schools involved have found this valuable so we decided to set up a virtual network on the website.

The Forum is the place for LPPA Co-ordinators and other staff involved in the LPPA process to ask questions, debate the best ways of involving parents in their school's work and share ideas. It is always good to find out how others have dealt with aspects of the LPPA process and to bounce ideas around.
Who can access the Forum?

All schools involved in LPPA have free access to the Forum, using the school log in.

The LPPA Co-ordinator is likely to be the person to use it most, but other staff and governors involved in LPPA may also choose to participate.

Forum netiquette

This is a Forum for professionals involved in LPPA and parent partnership: please respect that and stay on topic. Anything you post will be read by everyone else on the Forum so never post anything you do not want made public.

Please do not post the same message twice as this can block up the Forum and is frustrating for users.

Finally, please do not allow colleagues who are not involved in LPPA access to the Forum.
