LPPA National Newsletter Issue 2

The new issue of the LPPA National Newsletter ‘Raising Achievement by Engaging Parents’ is now available to view through here.

This issue covers the latest DfE research on Best Practice in Parental Engagement, as well as how the use of ICT could close the ‘attainment gap’. It also takes a look at Great Britain’s first parent promoted school, The Elmgreen School, and how partnership with parents was integral in the development of the school.

The Newsletter also gives some information on how the LPPA can help schools meet requirements of the new Ofsted Framework for 2012, as well as looking at what has been happening with LPPA.
