LPPA Re-assessment

The Leading Parent Partnership Award is valid for 3 years from the date of successful Final Verification.

Successful schools and settings are informed about the Re-assessment process immediately after they achieve the Award, and are encouraged to keep in touch with the LPPA through the termly newsletter and Schools Section of the website.

The Re-assessment process involves:

  • Completion of a Re-assessment Self-evaluation exercise about 6 months prior to Re-assessment, with feedback given from the LPPA Re-assessor.
  • Maintaining a mini-portfolio of evidence to demonstrate that parent partnership has been sustained and developed during the 3-year LPPA period.
  • A full day visit from the Re-assessor to determine whether the Award standard has been maintained.

Re-assessment can be undertaken on an individual basis, or can involve support through a local group or through the local authority.

The LPPA Team can provide a half-day preparatory workshop for local groups of schools beginning the Re-assessment process.

“As a school we will continue to maintain the school’s philosophy and practice in our commitment to work in partnership with parents. We are very proud that we will continue to hold the Leading Parent Partnership Award for a further three years and that our work has been recognised so highly in this report. I would like to extend my many thanks to all who have made this possible.”
