The LPPA Toolkit

A new edition of the LPPA Toolkit will be available in the Spring Term 2012. This is a revised and updated version which will, in particular, help schools evaluate the impact of parental engagement more effectively.

The second edition of the Toolkit will be the main support tool for schools undertaking the Leading Parent Partnership Award through the School-Led Approach from Spring 2012.

The first edition of the Toolkit is still relevant to all schools and is currently on SPECIAL OFFER at £50 (plus P&P) – a discount of 75%!

The LPPA Toolkit was developed and published in 2009. It is an extensive, colourful and easily-accessible pack of materials, resources and guidance to support schools in their development of parent partnership, including:

  • Background information on the importance of parent partnership.
  • A self-evaluation framework to assess current levels of parent partnership.
  • Extensive advice and guidance on developing and sustaining parent partnership.
  • 25 best practice case studies from LPPA schools and settings.
  • Tried and tested practical suggestions and top tips for working with parents and carers.
  • A CD of sample frameworks, models and documents.
  • The LPPA Handbooks, which provide information about how the Award can be achieved through the three routes

The Toolkit can be used:

  • As a freestanding resource to help schools, settings and organisations to enhance their parent partnership work.
  • As support material for schools working to achieve the Award through the Adviser-led or Trainer-led routes.
  • As a detailed guide for schools working to achieve the Award through the School-led route.
